Human Touch provides a full line of massage chairs. The HT 1650 is the high-end luxury massage recliner by Human Touch. This massage recliner is somewhat unique in that it looks more like a classic recliner. However, underneath this traditional exterior comes a range of massage capabilities. We\'ll take a look at some of the features included in the HT 1650.
An important technology integrated into the human touch HT 1650 is the body scan. The body scan will locate the acupoints for your back, neck and shoulders. This information is then used to identify the acupoints to provide an acupressure type massage.
This massage recliner will perform a full scan of your back and determine your specific acupoints. There are known to be over 100 acupoints in the neck, shoulders and back. Your body has a total of over 350 acupoints. As the scan is performed, the chairs computer will note where your specific acupoints are located.
The HT 1650 uses the acupoint detection system for acupressure massages such as shiatsu. These massage is stimulate the acupoints. These can be activated using the manual controls. You also must set your shoulder height manually each time you use the chair.
There are 8 programmed massages in the HT 1650. All of these massage programs provide a whole body massage. There are some specialized programs such as sports therapy and other more general like warming up. Each massage is designed to perform a different therapeutic treatment.
There are also four manual massage functions included in this massage recliner. The four manual massage functions are compression, rolling, percussion and kneading. You may select these manual programs in use them in conjunction with manual massage courses.
Another feature of the HT 1650 by human touch is being able to target the massage in a particular area. There are manual massage courses which can be selected to provide aid massage in a given area. You can also pinpoint massage in one specific area as well.
An interesting feature integrated into the HT 1650 is its unique leg rest. The leg rest is flat on one side. However, when you flip it over, it has spaces to fit your legs and. These leg Wells are used to deliver a compression massage to the calves.
When you do not want to use the calf massager, you can flip it over to its flat side. This enables you to hide the calf massager when not in use. This adds to the aesthetic appeal of the HT 1650 massage recliner.
Human touch has developed a remote control with function buttons on two of the faces of the remote. This saves some space and allowed them to make a thinner control. This thinner remote control is also wired directly into the chair. There is no remote control stand, but a pocket is provided for storing the remote when it is not being used.
One of the areas of concern for me with this HT 1650 massage chair is the strength of the massage. Although there are many different techniques, many of them are to light to be effective for my taste. This can be a problem down the road. You want to make sure that any massage chair you purchasable provide a strong enough massage for the years to come.
Human touch provides warranty coverage of three years for parts on the HT 1650. You also get 90 days of in-home technician service. The warranty coverage of this massage recliner is fairly comprehensive.
The design of the HT 1650 is headed in the right direction. It is one of the few massage recliners which does not look like a typical massage chair. The main drawback on the aesthetics is that the chair looks very large. It is fairly comfortable to sit in and can compliment most rooms. If you are looking for a high-end massage recliner, then check this one out but make sure that it will meet your long term therapeutic needs.
