It is hard to think that someone who is using a third-party to create their chairs is better than one manufacturing them directly for thirty years.

This model also has an integrated music therapy system. The music therapy system is a little bit more than just listening to your favorite music. The massage is synchronized to and orchestrated by the music that is being played.
The synchronized music works by automatically altering the intensity of the rollers and altering the type of massage mode in response to the music. The mechanical rollers in the back respond to the bass sounds. Whereas, the leg vibration motors respond to the midrange frequencies.

The massage in the back could be a little stronger. I am a fan of deeper tissue massage and prefer that my massage chair is strong. This massage seemed a little weaker even when I removed the back cover. I reclined the chair back far but did not feel penetration to thoroughly relieve my stiffness.
Overall, I think that the Osim iSymphonic massage chair is a decent brand. Just because it is offered by Brookstone doesn\'t make it the best. There are many solid brands contending for your attention. These are perhaps easier to try because of the many outlets that Brookstone has.
