I don't know about you, but I've seen those massage chairs in the mall. Honestly, I've always wanted to go and try it. I've walked by many times, seen people with smiles on their faces and their eyes closed. Not bad for being in the middle of a public place. The other day I was passing by and saw one of those stores and it had an opening in one of the massage chairs. I knew then and there that this was my opportunity. I had to make my way and get in front of this kid who was b-lining to the same chair. I made my move into the Osim uComfort massage chair.

Getting to the chair, I realized I had to cut back and over the leg rest. I went for it and landed squarely. Now that I was in the chair, I just needed to figure out how to get it all going. I noticed that there was a remote control which was hardwired to the massage chair.

With the remote control in my hand, I selected one of the automatic full body massage programs. This started the recliner into action. I felt a bunch of different things happening across my whole body.

As the chair sprung into life, I could feel a lot of things happening to different parts of my body. My butt got squeezed. I felt movement going down my spine slowly. My lower legs were being compressed.

Something was moving slowly down my back. This didn't have much effect on me. I thought that would start massaging. Once it made its pass, then it started some massaging action.

The roller back mechanism was making its journey up and down my back. While it was doing that, the lower part of me was being fully massaged. My legs were being squeezed and held in the leg rest. This was rather relieving.

Once the massaging mechanism for the back made its trip down and up, it began new movements. It began with my shoulders by making a squeezing and kneading motion. I did not feel much massage motion on my back though.

As I'm sitting there, I just wasn't quite satisfied. My legs didn't feel comfortable and I thought that the chair could recline. I reached for the remote. My question had been answered.

I grabbed the remote and pushed on the down arrow for the chair back. It began to shoot backwards. As it shot backwards, my legs were still stationary. I was starting to have fun.

It was nice to be reclining backwards in the chair. However, my legs were not following me. I took another look at the remote. I saw that there was a leg rest icon with an up arrow. My legs now began their upward journey.

I think I hit the end of the chair back recline. The chair stopped reclining but my legs were still going up. Now my legs were fully up and I was almost horizontal. The different parts of the massage chair continued on my body.

I have to say that the lower part of the massage chair was more effective than the upper part of the chair. My legs were being squeezed firmly providing relief. The thighs and buttocks were being worked over. My back just wasn't feeling it. I tried another of the full body programs.

Switching programs just kind of did more of the same. There was a third program and I went for it. Momentarily, it changed the patterns of movement on my back. But yet even this third program did not really feel like it was massaging strongly my back. I looked around and saw that I was in the Osim uComfort massage chair.

Having just realized that maybe the Osim uComfort massage chair is not for me, I pressed the off button. The recliner began moving in different ways. The chair back sprung upward and the leg rest downward. As I returned to the upright position, I noticed another empty Osim massage chair. Not losing the momentum of returning upright I sprung forward toward the empty Osim massage chair.
