My first experience with OSIM Massage Chair uComfort was actually at the mall.  Brookstone was offering some kind of a “test a massage chair” day. During that day I got through several chairs like the uAstro and the I-symphony, but uComfort was just something different.

I noticed that this chair was the bargain basement price when I compared it to other similar looking chairs. I immediately thought that there must be something wrong with this chair because they sell it with such a low price.

I spent a half hour testing the uComfort and slowly most of my doubts faded away. I can assure you that this chair is as good or even better than chairs costing you several thousands of dollars more.  You can also buy it at more places than just Brookstone, like on the internet, for example.  So check around and try to find the best price for it.

This Brookstone uComfort massage chair offers you a powerful full body massage.  This gives you a full body massage.  You can experience real relaxation from head to toe. When you start a massage program, the uComfort does a body scan.  The massage rollers glide along the length of your back to sense your shoulders.  This gives you a customized massage. This calibration brings you more effective and sensitive massage that hits just the right spots.

During my “test drive” I noticed that this chair has 3 full body programs.  There are also 6 targeted programs to select from for particular areas for relief. There are also manual controls .  You can also use the manual controls to focus on your particular problem spots.

This chair offers you 4 types of deep, kneading back and neck massage to choose from, plus airbag massage to relieve tension in your calves, ankles, seat and hips. The 30 minute healthcare program lets you enjoy a powerful kneading and tapping.  It first starts at your head and neck.  It then slowly works its way across your body.  There is also an air massage with airbags that gently but firmly massage your legs.

The remote is very easy to use so you don´t have to spend hours figuring out how to get the massage you want. Just push a button and relax. The remote has also a button for the chair to recline.

One of my favorite programs is the 30 minute healthcare program.  If you enjoy a powerful kneading and tapping massage starting from your head and neck.  It also deliberately works its way across your body.  It also uses the airbags to provide air massage for your legs.

You may also want to try the 20 minute well-being program.  This is good to relieve tightness in the back and neck.  You will feel tension melt away as uComfort applies a soothing tapping massage.  It works all along your back, shoulders and neck.

One very subtle massage is the Relax program.  You can choose the length of your massage from 10 to 99 minutes. This program also includes kneading, tapping, and rolling up and down your back.  The air massage systems uses the airbag massage across your entire body for complete relaxation.

There are also Six targeted auto programs.  Just decide where you need to relieve the most.  Select the appropriate massage program from the remote and sit back and relax.
